Costs

Our clients will typically cover locating costs, including travel, room and board. In some cases, we will cover location costs depending on need and location. (For example, some charitable groups and corporate service agreements may allow for no charge locating. In addition, some in-home or in-office assessments (house calls) may be elligible for no-charge locating in the Foothills region of Alberta. Call for details.)

Please contact us to learn about what costs may be covered by private insurance and by Provincial and Territorial Healthcare. In many cases, the final cost to the client is negligible or nil for eye exams, medically necessary eye care services, and even glasses.

Products

Our remote service provides a combined package of professional eyecare and quality eyewear and contact lenses. By providing the end products to our clients, we can ensure they will not be disappointed in their eyewear and contact lens purchases. This also allows us to provide some of the best product warranty options available.

Prices are fair market prices and we provide choice sufficient to satisfy the most discriminating taste. We sell only the best quality eyewear and contact lens products and select our products based on what is best for client health and client value for dollars spent. Our selection is always current and reflects quality and value; we will never compromise on quality and value to offer the lowest price.

Technology & Health

On-Sight.ca doctors and technicians use the most advanced portable equipment to assess and manage vision and eye health. We pride ourselves in the accuracy of our exams and ability to reference client data from any location. This means that we can compare results of our exams over time and reliably track any changes in vision or eye health.

Remote eye health and vision exams are comprehensive and include:

1) Assessment of current vision and health history.

2) Visual efficiency screening.

3) Determination of current glasses/contact lens prescription.

4) Eye health examination including review of the exterior and interior eye and assessment of nerve function and visual processing. We screen for all eye diseases and will manage care for those who need referrals to specialists.

Optional Services: Visual Efficiency Assessment and Training, Contact Lens Service, Specialty Eyewear and Vision Aids (for disability and leisure)

Compromise

No. There is no compromise. On-Sight.ca doctors and technicians are committed to protect your health and ensure your satisfaction with your purchases. Period.
